Last Chance for FREE offer from ePantry!

There is only a short time left to get in on the amazing offer from ePantry that I told you all about! It's ending TODAY in just a few hours! {at 6 PM Pacific Standard Time}.

Get the Kitchen Clean Kit from ePantry :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

I just want to add that I honestly LOVE and use both Seventh Generation and Mrs. Meyers products and I also love saving time and shopping online. This is such a great company and they have organic and natural products that I just can't find in stores - and for such reasonable prices, too! In fact, I've "tested" out all kinds of laundry detergent brands that say "free and clear" and Seventh Generation is THE ONLY ONE that is actually clear. If you've seen my laundry room, I have two beverage dispensers for my vinegar and laundry detergent and can clearly SEE that the "others" are cloudy and not really as clear as they say! I am a loyal Seventh Generation lover!

See this? That's NOT Seventh Generation and I regretted buying this "clear" detergent that is CLEARLY not all that clear or natural - just a clumpy mess!

As far as Mrs. Meyers, ummm, my whole house smells like that beautiful smell from cleaners used here! But, there are SO many more great cleaners and things. I even snagged some organic tampons and maxi pads on there...I've been looking for some for awhile but they were so expensive at the health food store and they are WAY less on ePantry! So, go HERE, check it out for yourself {or click on any of the pictures}! Get your FREE gift and $5 off your first order and FREE shipping!

Left-over Food Container Organizing

Plastic food storage containers are used daily in my home because they are lightweight, and inexpensive.  Besides holding leftover food the containers are handy for organizing craft supplies, school/office supplies and as dividers in junk drawers.

Time for an Update: Teen Boy Room

As with everything in this house, after a few years I'm ready to redo a room again. Maybe it's the ADD in me or maybe I just love to change things up. Nonetheless, I've noticed my son's room is ready for an update. The last time I did something in there, he was in elementary school and he's turning 16 in a few weeks and I'd like to give him a more updated, grown up look in there.

Beauty Products Storage and Expiration Dates Printable

My sweet friend, Leanne, of Organize and Decorate Everything, is not only an amazingly organized and creative blogger, but is genuinely kind hearted and fun to be around! I have known Leanne for several years and she has been gracious enough to share her tips on beauty product storage with you today.

A lot of times we forget to clean out our make-up and continue buying more and more, adding it to our ever growing stash. I'm saying this from personal experience. A few years ago I had way too many beauty products, some I had never used and some that had been expired for years. Once I cleaned out my stash I vowed to keep it that way. I have a few things I do to keep my beauty products in check so I'm not wasting money and space. So today we're going to talk about Beauty Products Storage and Expiration Dates.

How Do You Organize Light Bulbs?

Am I the only person who struggles trying to keep my lightbulbs in a somewhat organized manner? I mean, they are a mess. You feel obligated to keep them in the most odd shaped boxes and containers and then they just spill out all over the place, right? At least, that's what I've experienced.

How to Handle Paper Clutter

Today, I'm so excited to bring you a guest post from a sweet lady. Mary is a professional organizer and mother of four. She loves to organize, create, decorate and then blog about it at MaryOrganizes. Mary doesn't chase after perfection, her goals are a healthy home and happy life. She has amazing organizing skills and is here to help me out with all my back and forth traveling I've been doing. Now..let's handle that paper clutter before it controls us!

How to Handle Paper Clutter :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

If paper is your problem, you are not alone!

Laundry and Paper are the monsters of homemaking and are more similar than you realize. A good strategy for laundry maintenance can teach you a lot about how to solve your paper problem. Your dirty clothes go in a hamper until its time to wash it. It would be a waste of time and energy to wash each piece of laundry one at a time as it becomes dirty. I use my inbox as my paper hamper and I save time dealing similar types of papers (or loads) at the same time.

The Hidden Cost of Clutter

I am going to be traveling quite a bit in the next few weeks. To help me fill in while I'm busy, I've got some amazing organizing bloggers who will fill in here and there...like seriously amazing! If you'd like to see what I'm up to, head over to Instagram and follow me there. I'll be heading to a blog conference this week and then more fun after that...

Hi Organizing Made Fun readers! I'm Hilda and I blog over at From Overwhelmed To Organized.  I love sharing tips to help overwhelmed people declutter and organize their homes.

Thanks for having me here Becky!  I'm excited to share about one of my favorite topics... decluttering! Do you have clutter in your home?  Have you been wanting to declutter but just haven't been motivated enough to get started? Well I'm hoping today's post will give you a little push towards purging some things from your home!

There are several ways that having clutter in your home costs you - financially, non-financially, and when you're moving. This posts shares some of these hidden costs of clutter and offers tips and support to help you start decluttering.

Did you know that your clutter is costing you money all the time?  There are some obvious ways... like making late payment charges due to overdue bills you couldn't find... or re-purchasing items that you already have but can't find when you need them. But clutter also has costs associated with it in other ways that you may not think of.

Our Cute Playhouse Updated for a Tween

Our backyard has been so much fun to have and use for all kinds of things - including entertaining of adults and kids. We recently got rid of our kids swingset, since they are now {almost} 16 and 11 1/2. They really didn't play on it anymore and we have a big RV parking pad there now! But, we DID keep the cute, little playhouse. I plan on keeping that around awhile. It's had a hard year, what with all the kids and people over that it sits under two large avocado trees that think it's fall in the summer and shed leaves all summer long...among other stuff. We never really finished the floor well when we made it over a few years ago. It shows!

Well, I came up with a {cheap} idea to keep the inside a little cleaner and found another cheap way to make the floors look amazing.

My Secrets to Making {Summer} Entertaining EASY!

If you've ever followed me on Instagram, you'd notice that we have people over - a LOT! Like, we have people over weekly, sometimes several times a week, depending on what's going on and what time of the season it is. And, we have people over year round on our outdoor patio. We can do that since we live in a place that has such great weather. But, no matter where you live, your can still get some ideas from me on how to make things easier when entertaining. Sadly, after asking on Facebook, many of my readers tell me they NEVER have people over! Oh, you are missing out on so much when you don't. It's so great to share your home with others.

Easy, Inexpensive Nail Polish Organization

{Written by Tiffany}

One of our Facebook followers recently asked us to comment on how to organize nail polish.  This got me thinking about the messy nail-drawer in my bathroom that I have been meaning to organize.
