15 Easy and Simple Ideas for Organizing!

Sometimes I realize that my organizing is simple for me, but for others it's not as easy to think about doing it. I've simply walked around my house and have posted things from here and there on my Instagram feed that show how simple things can be organized. I want to share 15 of those ideas with you today, that are not hard. You don't have to have that "organizing gene" in you to do these, just some inspiration from somewhere {that would be me} and the desire to try it in your own home.

Amazing Essential Oil Giveaway

As some of you know, I'm passionate about natural living. I go out of my way to seek alternative ways to live {green living} and to have a healthy life. I discovered essential oils over two years ago. I learned about them, talked about them, and studied what they did. I asked my blog friend, Toni  about hers because she had been using dōTERRA and I wanted to find out about having a Medicine Cabinet Makeover Class at my house. A wellness advocate came over, and my nearly 30 friends and I listened in amazement about what essential oils were capable of doing and how they had transformed lives - getting people off of medications, helping those with depression, and helping with painful ailments. And now, nearly two years later, I have seen some of those same friends with auto-immune diseases now living much fuller and pain-free lives using essential oils. I have witnessed their ability just in our own home in our son getting off all his asthma medication and inhalers and allergies dissipated, and my migraines that I can cure without any medication! Am I still skeptical? Yes, and every time I'm amazed that they work! Now, on to the amazing giveaway...

Colorful Home Updates

If you recall, I shared with you our native, drought tolerant front yard landscape six months ago. It was a bit sparse - since it was newly planted. Our drought here in Southern California has only gotten worse, so it has already proven to be a smart decision for us to "go native" and we've seen a ton of growth in our front yard in the last six months! I've also added more color to the front yard and other places around our house I'd like to share with you...

Work Smarter, Not Harder: How to Stay Organized and Work from Home

Last month, I had the privilege to write a post for Hometalk about blogging. I've been in the business now for over 4 years and I really enjoy it. It has it's ups and down. Mostly ups, but I've been learning to manage things even better over the last year or so. I had another blogger ask me a question recently, and it turned into an entire post! So, blogger or not, I think you may enjoy this peak into my world. If you are a work from home mom {or hoping to be in the future}, this will definitely apply to you, as well.

I really admire how you run/manage your blog. I know you've said in the past that you view your blog as your business and you take that very seriously. You've also mentioned that you schedule Pinterest months in advance. I'm wondering if you have any tips for managing your blog, keeping on schedule, staying focused on your business, staying on top of social media...

Reglazing Update on Kids' Bathroom

Before: Kids Bathroom with old style peach and rose colored tile :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

It's been about two years since we updated the kids' bathroom by having all the outdated, original tile professionally sprayed white. It's gorgeous in there now -- as nostalgic as I am about our 1940s home is, their bathroom was just ugly. The white has refreshed and brightened it up in there ten fold! But, as promised years ago that I would let you know, how is it holding up?

Getting a Preteen Out the Door Faster!

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Goody, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #GoodyGorgeous

How to get your preteen out the door faster :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

What in the world does having a hair brush have to do with getting your kids out the door faster? Well, stay with me...I have a plan! You see, getting the kids out the door for school or church or wherever you have to be, can be a big pain in the neck...add in a preteen girl who's nearly 11 going on 16 and wants to "look her best" and spends countless amounts of time in the bathroom brushing her long, thick, wavy hair, and you have my dilemma. Am I the ONLY one?

Gray and Orange Master Bedroom Makeover

If you knew me personally, you'd know I like to change things up when it comes to decorating my home. After four or five years, I'm ready to change it up! It may not be drastic, but it must look different and feel different! That's how I felt about our master bedroom recently. It was decorated so lovely - in blue and brown. Very much something that five years ago was pretty hip and nice. But...my taste and decorating style is constantly changing and I'm learning to find my true style. I think our bedroom truly reflects my style now -- and my colorful side. So, I left our blue walls and decided to add gray and orange to the bedroom to mix it up.

Pinterest and Facebook Telling YOU What to See

I'm hear to share with you a little of frustration as a blogger and to share with you about how you can make sure you are seeing what you want to see via your social media. Maybe you don't even like social media...well, that's fine. But, it's an important way for me to let many of you know new things or share older posts that you may not know about, etc. Pinterest has now caught on to the ways of Facebook and are giving you a "smart feed". In my opinion, it's not so smart! So, let me show you how you can follow on Pinterest and Facebook and be SURE you are seeing what is posted from those you like or follow.

Do you realize that you don't actually see the people you want to follow on Pinterest and Facebook? Well, here's how YOU can see them instead of having that decision made for you :: OrganizingMadeFun.com
